Mazda would be fun to get back into... but I believe you really need an ESCAPE:
The Strip Joint in Pomona ... $10 laps and great laps I might add w/ great grindage and beautiful gals... IMO better than gambling slots. Another suggestion is to simply go to NYC or some other big city like Las Vegas, or Los Angeles and meet people. Manhattan is such a great place to talk story tourist or locals. I just loved it. Unfortunately, its too expensive to stay in NYC although airfare is comparable to Las Vegas -- why?
Vegas is always a great getaway and the cheapest way to get off the rock. Check out Mystere, a great show. Hit Stratosphere's Big Shot -- I missed it in June 2003. Or wait for Project Sky X hopefully opening in September such that you can scared the shit your soul as you are sent to the edge by a giant see-saw. Crazy!! Maybe, I'll just earn some comp time so I can show you around MY VEGAS...
All in all, wait when -- if ever -- I get a garage so the Mazda can be cared for... not looking good since living in Hawaii is so god damn expensive. Shit I was in New Hampshire and homes were being sold by the acre, not by square footage. I guest that's the cost of living in "paradise". Anyway, hope we can f*ck the Mazda more... f*ckin' up is good.
Aloha,
Mike
